The Glen Lake Library will host Mollie Moody on Thursday, April 25 for a presentation on her father’s recently published memoir “A Father’s Arms.”
The diary recounts Captain Robert Maynard’s experience as a tank commander in Europe, including his arrival at Hitler’s famed Eagle’s Nest at the end of the war.
Maynard, who died in 2022 at the age of 101, offers a unique, first-hand perspective on this historic struggle. Copies of the book will be available for sale, with all proceeds donating to the VFW of Michigan.
The presentation will take place in the library’s program room at 7 p.m.
