Weather yields to yard cleanups

Not much going on as of this writing, just waiting for the sun to disappear. Should be interesting.

Snowbirds are coming back, hopefully they can find their way in the dark and things are getting back to whatever it is in the summer that is normal.

This is the time year you hear yards being cleaned up, roads and sidewalks being clean and getting ready for traffic, one of my favorite times a year.

Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. the Glen Lake Community library will welcome photographer Christopher Lamb who will share his compositions combining stunning landscapes with the use of the night sky.

The Glen Lake Restaurant Week April 26 through May 4. Always good food always a good time.

Condolences to Pete Stern on the loss of his father.

Happy Birthday wishes to Bonnie Lanham, Monte Basch, Bucky Noonan, Amy Ellison, Shelley Yeager, Vicki Baxter, Jacob Wheeler, Thomas Jefferson and a very special and unfortunately belated happy birthday to one of my favorite girls granddaughter Matti. At least we celebrated her birthday well on Saturday.

I am not sure this is a celebration, anyway you like flying the flag full high or at half mast, however you feel like it, the 15th is Tax day. I like the saying is if it’s in observance, but it’s a little bit more.

Winston Churchill said it best, “The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes”.

The sun is shining (at the moment) and everything is good, be happy, be safe, think of others as well as yourself.

Go patriotism!
