Scheduled from June 23-28, 2024, the camp will be hosted on the university’s campus in Midland.

“This week-long experience is an exceptional chance for high school students to delve into their entrepreneurial capabilities and acquire essential skills for their future achievements,” stated LAB Week Director Patrick McElgunn, an entrepreneur who also runs the NU Idea Center in downtown Midland. “Our program delivers a concentrated learning environment, blending practical experience, mentorship, and collaborative teamwork.”

During LAB Week, participants will engage in a range of interactive activities and workshops, led by seasoned professionals and faculty members from Northwood University. Through engaging lectures, real-world case studies, and practical exercises, students will develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem- solving, communication, and leadership.

LAB Week is open to high school students entering grades 9-12. The program is limited to 56 participants to ensure a personalized and immersive experience. Interested students are encouraged to apply early to secure their spot. The deadline to apply is May 12.
