The Maritime Heritage Alliance has planned a series of programs through April 6.
The first program, held last week, was on the shipwrecks of the Manitous.
Saturday, March 23, a halfday training session for crew basics is planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The story of the Race to Alaska, an engineless, unsupported race from Port Townsend, Washington to Ketchikan, Alaska, will be the focus on April 4 at MHA, set from 7 to 8 p.m.
And “Keep it Sharp,” a tool sharpening class, is set for Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.
