The Leelanau Peninsula Economic Foundation (LPEF) is extending its ‘Leelanau Business Survey 2024’ for another 10 days until March 15 to receive concerns, challenges and priorities of Leelanau County’s business owners and senior managers.

“Looking at what are the key issues that businesses are facing,” said Jaime Jewell of the Leelanau Peninsula Economic Foundation.

The last survey of this kind was completed in 2016. Nearly eight years later, the foundation wants to know the most pressing issues.

Jewell added that key issues could include housing, broadband, cell phone coverage, employment, child care, and a slew of other topics. Once the survey is released the information will be available to the public to analyze.

“We encourage people to still take it,” Jewell said.
