So much winning

To the editor:

In 2016, Trump lost the popular vote by nearly 3 points.

In 2018, Republicans lost both the House and Senate.

In 2020, Biden beat an incumbent president and got more votes than anyone in American history. Trump lost the popular vote by more than 4 points.

In 2022, Democrats defied midterm trends, gained seats in the Senate, losing a handful of seats in the House.

In 2023 special elections, Democrats have outperformed partisan leans in 38 races by an average of +10.

Since 2021, Biden has passed an extraordinary amount of popular bipartisan legislation.

The economy has avoided a predicted recession and is now “truly excellent.”

Meanwhile, Trump is facing 91 felony counts in 4 separate criminal trials, and half a billion dollars in legal fines.

Be honest. Who is winning?
